What to do in the area
Not far from the hotel is a bus stop from where you can get to the main villages on the island: the town centre, Canneto, Acquacalda. All take between 5/15 minutes to get to.
Aeolian Archaeological Museum.
This is housed in various buildings located on the Castle rock. The archaeological Bernabò Brea museum’s huge collection ranging from the Bronze Age to the classical Age, as well as its areas dedicated to vulcanology and paleontology, make it a must-see for those passionate about archeology and vulcanology.

It is a little known fact that this is one of the most important archaeological museums in Europe. It is surrounded by an archaeological park in which the remains of a settlement dating back to the neolithic period and Greek and Roman necropolis were uncovered in 1928.
The thermal springs in San Calogero.
This is a former spa, the origin of which dates back 3500 years, located within the natural and archeological park of San Calogero e Pianoconte in Lipari. The old building houses the memorial eco-museum.
Mount S. Angelo
With its 594 meters this is the highest panoramic spot on the island of Lipari.
