You will have to drive your own vehicle on the motorway to Milazzo harbour (1h 40). There you can board the first ferry to the Islands, with the companies SIREMAR or NGI.
› From Palermo by car (ferry crossing):
You will have to drive your own vehicle on the motorway to Milazzo harbour (3h/300 km). There you can board the first ferry to the islands with the companies SIREMAR or NGI.
BY TRAIN
The railway station nearest to the Aeolian Islands is Milazzo (ME).
N.B. From the station you can take a taxi or public bus service to the port in Milazzo, from which hydrofoils and ferries leave for the islands.
